This is a very rare opportunity to purchase what must be one of the lowest mileage, completely original Triumph Heralds left in existence.
Finished in White over Grey, this car was purchased by its original lady owner in 1963. She used the car sparingly to 1989, when it had covered a mere 12,000 miles. She passed the car on to her great-nephew, who used it for a year then put it into dry storage until 2006.
Recommissioned in 2006 with:
- reconditioned front & rear brakes
- new clutch and brake master cylinders
- new fuel and brake lines
- new heater hoses
- new exhaust system
Condition of the car is extremely original, never been painted or welded. Structurally completely sound - chassis legs, outriggers, floor pan, bulkhead, boot floor and rear bulkhead all in unbelievable condition for an unrestored car.
The interior is in amazing condition - red vinyl seats spotless, wood veneer dash excellent, original carpets good with exception of drivers footwell, where the heel area is worn.
The paintwork needs a little attention along the bottoms of the sills, wheelarches and the valances.
