Compared to most of the marques we feature, Westfield is relatively new. Westfield Sports Cars was created in during Easter 1983 following a decision by founder, Chris Smith to built a replica of the Lotus XI Le Mans car.

The Westfield XI replica kit proved so popular, Chris and his wife Eileen were able to reinvest constantly in production and development.

Every aspect of the car, from the chassis to the seats were made in the factory to ensure quality and value for money, which is a concept still in place today.

In 1991, Westfield Sports Cars moved to a bigger premisies in Kingswinford, where they still produce their cars today. It was here the powerful V8 SEIGHT was born. With a 0-60mph of 3.6 seconds it proved to be Westfield's fastest machine so far.

The Westfield XI ceased production in 1986, but after numerous enquiries, Chris relented and reintroduced the XI in October 2004.

Since 1983 Westfield Sports Cars have built and sold over 8500 cars worldwide. Currently they produce over 400 cars a year. A magnificient achievment for what is a truley magnificient British car company.
